Return & Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your Gaelic Generations order. This policy explains your cancellation, return and refund rights when buying from us online.
Changing your mind
If you are a consumer buying online, you normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
You can tell us that you wish to cancel at any time from placing your order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods.
Once you tell us that you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
This right applies to our standard catalogue products even though they are produced after an order is placed.
Wrong size or colour
If you order a standard item in the wrong size or colour, you may use your statutory cancellation right described above, provided the item is eligible for cancellation and is returned within the required period.
Please check the product size guide carefully before ordering.
Condition of returned items
You may inspect and try on an item in the same way you reasonably could in a shop.
You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and fit of the item.
Personalised or custom products
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to products that have been made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you.
A standard Gaelic Generations design printed after you order is not treated as personalised merely because it is made to order.
Damaged, faulty, misprinted or incorrect items
Your statutory rights are separate from the change-of-mind cancellation right.
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact us as soon as possible at support@gaelicgenerations.com.
Where the law gives you a right to reject faulty goods, repair, replacement or refund, nothing in this policy limits that right.
How to request a cancellation or return
Email support@gaelicgenerations.com and include:
- your name;
- your order number;
- the item or items concerned; and
- whether you are cancelling the order or reporting a problem.
If an item is faulty or incorrect, photographs may help us resolve the matter quickly, although providing photographs does not remove any statutory rights you have.
Please contact us before sending anything back so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Return postage
For a change-of-mind cancellation, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us unless we agree otherwise.
Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract, Gaelic Generations will bear reasonable return costs where required by law.
Refunds
For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, we will reimburse the amount due using the original payment method.
We may wait until we receive the returned goods, or until you provide evidence that you have sent them back, before issuing the refund.
Where applicable, the refund will be issued no later than 14 days after the relevant return requirement has been satisfied.
After we issue a refund, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the funds in your account.
